Acolyte Ragnarok Guide


As I said before in the 1st Jobs,  Acolyte is strong to kill some undead monsters. because their skill is helping them face the undead. here are the skills, they are;

Divine protection
Increase the character's defend to undead properties and demon properties
level: 1 increase the defend by 3
          2 increase the defend by 6
          3 increase the defend by 9
          4 increase the defend by 12
          5 increase the defend by 15
          6 increase the defend by 18
          7 increase the defend by 21
          8 increase the defend by 24
          9 increase the defend by 27
         10 increase the defend by 30

Demon Bane
Increase the Character's attack to undead properties and demon properties
level: 1 increase the attack by 3
          2 increase the attack by 6
          3 increase the attack by 9
          4 increase the attack by 12
          5 increase the attack by 15
          6 increase the attack by 18
          7 increase the attack by 21
          8 increase the attack by 24
          9 increase the attack by 27
         10 increase the attack by 30

Ruwach
Reveals hidden enemy and cloaking enemy and give them a little damage base on the Magic-attack.

Pneuma
creates a green cloud that can block all ranged physical attack. doesn't work with ranged-based magic.

Teleportation
teleports your character. 
level: 1 teleports random area
          2 teleports to your save points

Warp Portal
Teleports you to a certain place in Ragnarok. especially big city like Prontera, Geffen, etc. requires 1 blue gemstone for doing this skill.

Heal
Gives some Hitpoints to your character. not only you, your friend can also can get some hitpoints if you use it. you can use this skill as an attack skill if you give the /ns (no shift) command to your character. because undead can't be healed, and if you use this skill you will give them some damage.

Increase Agility
this is an active skill that gives you 25% movement speed and some agility with you.
level: 1 Increase 3 Agility
          2 Increase 4 agility
          3 Increase 5 agility
          4 Increase 6 agility
          5 Increase 7 agility
          6 Increase 8 agility
          7 Increase 9 agility
          8 Increase 10 agility
          9 Increase 11 agility
         10 Increase 12 agility

Decrease Agility
this skill is the opposite of the skill above. it decrease your movement speed by 25% and decrease your agility based on the skill level.
level: 1 Increase 3 agility
          2 Increase 4 agility
          3 Increase 5 agility
          4 Increase 6 agility
          5 Increase 7 agility
          6 Increase 8 agility
          7 Increase 9 agility
          8 Increase 10 agility
          9 Increase 11 agility
         10 Increase 12 agility

Aqua Benedicta
creates a holy water. the character must stand in a water terrain if they want to create one's

Signum Crusis
decrease the defend of the undead monster on your screen. this skill is quite good I think to kick some undead monsters.
level: 1 decrease 14% of the Undead defend
          2 decrease 18% of the Undead defend
          3 decrease 22% of the Undead defend
          4 decrease 26% of the Undead defend
          5 decrease 30% of the Undead defend
          6 decrease 34% of the Undead defend
          7 decrease 38% of the Undead defend
          8 decrease 42% of the Undead defend
          9 decrease 46% of the Undead defend
         10 decrease 50% of the Undead defend

Angelus
Increase your defend and your team defends based on the teams defense.

Blessing
Bless a character with some strength, dexterity and intelligent.
level: 1 Increase Str,Dex,Int by 1
          2 Increase Str,Dex,Int by 2
          3 Increase Str,Dex,Int by 3
          4 Increase Str,Dex,Int by 4
          5 Increase Str,Dex,Int by 5

Cure
Cures Blind, Confusion and Silence. you cannot cast it if you get silenced ( Blind Confusion and Silence are the effects in Ragnarok and I Will Explain it Later).

Holy Light
Gives a 125% magic attack to enemy

and there are some types of acolyte. there are;
1) Support-type
support type is the basics for acolyte. Acolyte must have much HP and Int. because if you don't have much HP, you will be dead by monster around you and the same With Intelligent. you must have much Intelligent because acolyte skill need much SP. like I said before More Int more SP.

status for support-type:
str:1 don't need this
agi:1 not necessary
vit:50+ give them some HP and defense
int:80+ int is the important one
dex:60+ dex is needed to speed-up your casting
luk:1 you don't need this status

skill that should be considered:
Divine Protection level 5 (remember this type is support-type)
Demon Bane level level 3 (to have a support skills you must increase this at lease 3)
Heal level 10 (to give some HP to other player)
Increase Agility level 10 (walking fast is something we must have sometimes)
Decrease Agility level 3 (why we need this? to save our friend from monsters. trust me you need this)
Angelus level 7 (for team defense)
Blessing level 10 (good for strength, dexterity and intelligent)
Cure level 1 (increase this just in case)

2) Battle-type
if you become this type, It can helps Swordsman and other character in the party by hitting the monster as well. I rarely see a Battle-type acolyte but I ever seen it several times in a private server. haha :D

status for battle-type
str:70+ you need strength also for hitting
agi:50+ gives you attack speed and dodge
vit:40+ give them some HP and defense
int:60+ still int is necessary
dex:50+ to hitting certain monster with high agi with dex.
luk:1 you don't need this

skill that should be considered:
Divine Protection level 10 (Battle type need this)
Demon Bane level level 10 (yup also the same with Divine Protection, you need this)
Ruwach level 1 (just in case. for hiding skill monsters)
Heal level 6 (to give some HP to other player)
Increase Agility level 5 (walking fast is something we must have sometimes)
Decrease Agility level 3 (why we need this? to save our friend from monsters. trust me you need this)
Angelus level 5 (for team defense)
Blessing level 5 (good for strength, dexterity and intelligent)
Cure level 1 (increase this just in case)

Status in Ragnarok

this section is about Status on Ragnarok. status is the basic and the important part for a character.
first lets see the picture below the items box below (the part of that I circled it or you can see the colour)




















the Red-circled one is called Str (Strength); this status based on its name, its give you power right? so if you increase your strength, you power will increase. if you increase your streght, you "Atk" will increase (see beside the Str). 1 Str = 1 Atk, but every 10 multiple Str = 10 Atk. so if you increase it 10 Str = 20 Atk. and Strenght also increase your weight (if you want to see the weight of a character see in here). 1 Str = 30 weight.
a job that needs Str generally: Swordsman, Thief, Merchant, Acolyt (Battle type), Super Novice (Battle type).

the Green-circled one is called Agi (Agility); a character that increase its Agi, definitely have a high flee. because 1 Agi = 1 Flee. and also it increase your ASPD (attack speed), 4 agi = 1 ASPD. a high flee is good, but not too high because if you increase it too high you will died in a second if character with magic attacks you.
a job that needs Agi generally: Swordsman (Agility type), Thief, Archer, Ninja, Gunslinger, Taekwon, Super Novice (Battle type).

the Aqua-circled one is called Vit (Vitality); a character with high Vit is strong and have a high Hit points. but Some Knights and Paladins must increase this status a little bit much.because they needed it for mobing monsters. every 1 vit = 653 hitpoints. and for the defense, 1 vit = 1 Def.
a job that needs Vit generally: every job needs it ^_^

the Brown-circled one is called Int (Intelligent); Intelligent is needed by a character that attacks based on magics. Like Magician, they really need Int to strengthen their Matk. more Int, More Matk (Magic Attack).
1 int = 2 Matk, but 5 int = 14 Matk. it also increase your Magic Defend (Mdef), 1 int = 1 Mdef. and at last but not least, it also increase your SP (SP if needed to cast a magic) 1 int = 11 SP.
a job that needs Int generally: Magician, Ninja, Taekwon, Priest.

the Orange-circled one is called Dex (Dexterity); Dex is needed to hit some of the High-Agility users, like assasins. they have high Agi. because flee increase a miss-chance. Miss-chance is a chance to flee an physical attack. (I will put a picture about miss). back to the topic, 1 dex = 1 Hit. and it also increase your attack a little bit. 5 dex = 1 Atk. and every 12 dex = 1 ASPD increase too.
a job that needs dex generally: every job needs it.

the Black-one is called Luk (Luck); Luk sometimes is not really important for a character. because its only increase your Critical. every 4 luk = 1 Critical. its also Increase your Perfect-Dodge. Perfect-Dodge is not stated in the status bar. if a character got a Perfect-Dodge, it says "Lucky" (I will give you the picture).

Alt commands

Now I will explain to you about the alt commands. how we can use alt commands? just press alt+... on your keyboard. and *appear* the boxes will appeared.
here is list in-game alt commands.

alt+q





 when you press alt+q this box will come out. this box called status and equipment.

alt+s
















this is called skill box. you can choose your job skill in this box.

alt+z













this is box called party box. this box keep the player's name when they joined to your party.

alt+c










this is called chat-box. the function of this box is you can chat people and you can put limitation how many players can go in to your chat box. you also can choose public or private. if you choose public, everybody can go in to your chat box. but if you choose private, only certain people can go in to your chat box.

alt+v









this is basic information box. you can see your name, job, HP, SP, base-level, job-level, your weight and etc. beside the basic information box, it is a shortcut box. you can put your skills, and you can activate from keyboard F1 until F9.

alt+e









this is called item box, where you can see your list of your items in it. there are 3 different section of this box. first is item box. it is for usable items like potions, butterfly wings, any items that can be used by clicking it.second is equipment, where you can equip your items from head to accessory. and the third is etc box.

this box is / box. you can activated / commands in this box. I will explain the " / commands " later on.

this is called guest box. I don't know exactly what this box for. because in some Ragnarok private server, they don't implement the usage yet. so I am looking forward for the information.

this is guild box. in this box you can see the guild info, member of the guild (guildsmen), position, guild skill and etc.

this is friends list box. you can add another player to be your friend using right-click and choose add to be your friend. this box contain the name of the player that already be your friend.

this is emoticon lists box. where you can choose to emote something to others. for the emoticon lists, I will give it to you the commands later.

this is the another shortcut box. but this box is only for commands shortcut. you can use this shorcut by pressing alt+1 to alt+0.



Swordman Ragnarok Guide

 
In this section I will explain all about Swordsman based what I know. Enjoy !

First the skills,

One-handed sword mastery
this skill is passives. it increase the attack of the swordsman if they using one-handed weapons.
level : 1 increase the attack + 4
         2 increase the attack + 8
         3 increase the attack + 12
         4 increase the attack + 16
         5 increase the attack + 20
         6 increase the attack + 24
         7 increase the attack + 28
         8 increase the attack + 32
         9 increase the attack + 36
        10 increase the attack + 40

Two-handed sword mastery
this skill is also passive. but the different is when you use two-handed sword. it also increase you attack
level : 1 increase the attack + 4

this skill is passive. it can heals you when you're standing or sit. it heals every 10 seconds it can heals you based on your VIT and it also Increase the effect of healing items. this skill rocks I think.

         3 every 10 seconds Heals 15 Hit points
         4 every 10 seconds Heals 20 Hit points

Bash
This skill is an active skill. It blows your opponent and can cause stun that makes your opponent can't move within a second. when you have fatal-blow skill the stun chance can increase significantly.

         6 attack 280%
         7 attack 310%

Provoke
this skill is an active skill. the effect of this skill is making you opponent defense weaker but the attack become stronger. for me, this skill is quite good, especially for mobbing some monster that is aggressive. when you use this skill to the aggressive monster, the monster will attack you absolutely and it only attack you because you provoke it. I save my friend's life because of this skill. /heh
level : 1 53% Success, Target Attack +5%, Defense -10%
         2 56% Success, Target Attack +8%, Defense -15%
         3 59% Success, Target Attack +11%, Defense -20%
         4 62% Success, Target Attack +14%, Defense -25%

Magnum Break
this is an active skill. this skill is a fire-attribute skill and it has small AreaofEffect (AoE). when you use it your weapon element can change to fire-attribute element and your hit (about hit I will explain it on status section) also increase. this skill is good I think. because certain monster can't hit by physical attack. and some monster with hiding skill on it.
level : 1 attack 120%, +10 HIT
         2 attack 140%, +20 HIT
         3 attack 160%, +30 HIT
         4 attack 180%, +40 HIT
         5 attack 200%, +50 HIT
         6 attack 220%, +60 HIT
         7 attack 240%, +70 HIT
         8 attack 260%, +80 HIT
         9 attack 380%, +90 HIT
        10 attack 300%, + 100 HIT

Endure
this is an active skill. when you use it you it, you are will gain immunity from stucking and your Mdef will be Increasing a little bit. the effect can cancel if 7 monsters hits you. this skill is awesome I think. when you're tried to mobbing monsters, they keep attacking you and you can get stuck because of it. so, just use endure skill. with it you're be able to move swiftly when monster attacking you. however, this skill duration isn't keep very long and the delay-after skill for this skill is also long. use it wisely.
level : 1 last 10 seconds
          2 last 13 seconds
          3 last 16 seconds
          4 last 19 seconds
          5 last 22 seconds
          6 last 25 seconds
          7 last 28 seconds
          8 last 31 seconds
          9 last 34 seconds
         10 last 37 seconds

Moving HP Recovery
it generates your Hit points while you're moving. it increase about 50% regenerations point.

Fatal Blow
this is Fatal Blow, a passive skill. like I said before, when you use Bash Skill this skill can increase your stun chance. this is the data about the stun chance.
level : 6 Bash, 5% stun chance
         7 Bash, 10% stun chance
         8 Bash, 15% stun chance
         9 Bash, 20% stun chance
         10 Bash, 25% stun chance

Auto Berserk
auto level 10 provoke yourself when your Hit point below 25%. this skill will even function if your sp is all drained.

and the second how to change into swordsman?
the town is called izulde

Now, for the Swordsman type
there are four types of swordsman

1) Agility Type
for agility type swordsman, it has a high-flee because agility like I said before in the Status In Ragnarok . status for Agility-type swordsman:

str:70+ you need strength also for hitting
agi:99 Agility type Important status
vit:40+ give them some HP and defense
int:20+ still int is necessary for bashing
dex:50+ to hitting certain monster with high agi with dex.
luk:1 you don't need this unless you be a critical type swordsman


 Skill that should be considered:
One-handed sword mastery level 1 (you don't need to increase this skill because you use two-handed sword)
Two-handed sword mastery level 10 (you need this of course)
Bash level 10 (I think spamming Bash to the monster is awesome for agility type)
Magnum Break level 5 (just increase this only 5. just in case to hit certain monsters that can't be hit physically)
Endure level 7 (this skill is awesome for mobbing some monsters. 7 is enough I think)
Provoke level 5 (based on what I read, the effect of provoke it self not really good. so just make it 5)
For Moving HP Recovery you can add it based on how many skill that left.

2) Vitality Type
vitality type swordsman have many Hit Points and defense. some vitality swordsman easily got hired in a party because they strong to mobing some monsters. if you kill the mobs the experience will increase fast ^_^.
status for vitality swordsman:

str:99+ you need strength also for hitting
agi:1 don't need agility because you already have a good defense
vit:85+ give them some HP and defense
int:20+ int is necessary for the skill attack
dex:50+ to hitting certain monster with high agi with dex.
 luk:1 again you don't need perfect-dodge

 Skill that should be considered:
One-handed sword mastery level 1
Two-handed sword mastery level 10
Bash level 10
Magnum Break level 5
Endure level 7
Provoke level 5
For Moving HP Recovery you can add it based on how many skill that left.

One-handed sword mastery level 10
Two-handed sword mastery level 1
Bash level 10
Magnum Break level 5

3) Hybrid Type
hybrid type swordsman is a good type for me. because it has quite flee, defence, power and hit. because hybrid type swordsman focused with all the status (except luk, because you don't really need perfect-dodge).
status for hybrid type swordsman:

str:75+ you need strength also for hitting
agi:40+ some flee and attack speed that you need. I think 40 is enough
vit:50+ give them some HP and defense
int:20+ still int is necessary
dex:50+ to hitting certain monster with high agi with dex.
 luk:1 again you don't need perfect-dodge


 Skill that should be considered:
One-handed sword mastery level 1 (for hiybrid type, I think Spear-mastery is better than One-handed)
Two-handed sword mastery level 10
Bash level 10
Magnum Break level 5
Endure level 7
Provoke level 5
For Moving HP Recovery you can add it based on how many skill that left.

4) Luck Type
luck type have a good perfect-dodge and flee. but still they don't have enough Hit Points. but their critical is also usable for attacking. because critical doesn't see the monster defense.
status for luck type:

str:85+ you need strength also for hitting
agi:70+ some flee and attack speed that you need. I think 40 is enough
vit:20+ give them some HP and defense
int:1+ now the int isn't necessary for luck type
dex:50+ to hitting certain monster with high agi with dex.
 luk:60+ perfect-dodge and critical sustainer

 Skill that should be considered:
One-handed sword mastery level 1
Two-handed sword mastery level 10
Bash level 10
Magnum Break level 5
Endure level 7
Provoke level 5
For Moving HP Recovery you can add it based on how many skill that left.

MY SUGGESTION :
if you want to be a knight, you can choose agility type, vitality type and hybrid type. but if you want to be crusader, you can choose vitality type because most crusader jobs are mobbing the monsters. 

note: for " SKILL YOU MUST CONSIDERED". in some private server you can get all skills until level 10 because its max-job level maybe around 100 to 120, not 90.

Ragnarok 2nd Jobs

These are some jobs that you can change after the 1st jobs. there are some requirements to change to the 2nd jobs. first you must have the base-level 70 and for the job-level 50. you can also change if you have job-level 40. its up to you again. (see the picture above). see the circled-one is called base and job level. and the jobs are;



 
The Knight

Knight is a 2nd job for swordsman. When Swordsman becoming a Knight, they can choose 2 battle types. You can choose 2-handed sword Mastery or you prefer to choose Spear Mastery. you can also rides a peco-peco. 2-handed sword use bowling bash as an AOE (Area Of Effect). Spear also have an AOE attack called Brandish Spear. the skill can pull back some enemies if you use it. but you must rides a peco-peco to use this skill.

 
The Priest

Priest is and 2nd job for acolyte. Priest is very good at support. especially supporting others. I will mention some famous skill that they used. they are Heal, Blessing, Gloria, Barrier. Heal is for increasing other player's Hit points, Blessing used to increase attack damage. Gloria is for increasing defends. and Barrier is for protecting player from physical attack.





The Wizard

Wizard is a powerful class from Mage. Wizard have many AOE magics like Storm Gust, Meteor Storm, Lord of Vermilion and many more. Their skill helps other, especially for mobbing. Their skill is also have an element. like Storm Gust, it has water element. if you attack a monster with fire element, definitely it will increase your damage with storm gust.  The Weakness of fire is Water of course.




The Blacksmith

This is the 2nd Job for Merchant. Blacksmith is a powerful class and also a efficient class. Why I called it powerful? because it has supporting skill for attacking. Like Adrenaline Rush, Weapon Perfection and many more. also you can make an element weapon with blacksmith. it good for attacking some certain monster with elemental weapon.





The Hunter

As its name suggests, specializes in attacking with a bow and arrow. Its skills allow the Archer to attack from further away, as well as to fire two arrows at once with the "Double Strafing" skill. They can also rent a Falcon to help them attacking. Falcon can attack by its own when you increase your luk (luck). more luk more it can attack automatically.

Ragnarok 1st Jobs

There are several jobs in Ragnarok which you can choose, there are:


 
The Swordsman

is fighting well with one-handed, two-handed swords or one-handed, two-handed spears, the Swordsman class is really depends on their skills to fight. using its skills such as Bash to deal direct damage to enemies. Also, the Swordsman class makes the best tanker of the first class characters, with the skills Increase HP Recovery and Provoke which respectively allow it to heal itself over time and to taunt an enemy to attack them. this is my favorite job among all jobs. :D



 
The Acolyte

is the basic support in Ragnarok Online. It is the only one of the first-class characters with a healing ability. The Acolyte also may buff itself or others with skills such as Increase Agility, Blessing, and Angelus. the Acolyte class is good fighting to undead-type of monsters, with Divine Protection, Demon Bane, and Signum Crucis skills . The Acolyte class progresses to either Priest or Monk.



 
The Mage

is the basic offensive spell-caster in Ragnarok Online. You can become this job in the Magic City, Geffen. This class specializes in elemental damage such as Cold Bolt, Fire Bolt, and Lightning Bolt; the Mage can deal considerable damage to enemies. The Mage is usually used as a ranged fighter with their spell casting. The Most important attributes for them are INT and DEX. (INT is for magical attack power and DEX for a faster cast time).


 
The Thief 

class focuses on close-combat fighting like Swordsman but can also deal damage from afar like an Archer, by utilizing a bow. unlike the Swordsman which uses its high defense to absorb attacks, the Thief class uses its skills and high agility to dodge enemy attacks. .they have interesting skill like Double Attack, Hiding. Double Attack function is when you attack your enemy you can doubled your attacks and for Hiding skill, it's avoided you from being attacked because certain monsters can't see you when you're hiding. but you can't move when you use this skill.


 
The Merchant 

Merchants may purchase a cart to carry some items, especially some heavy items like oridecon, elunium, emperium,etc. as well as may open up street vendor shops with the Vending skill. The Merchant class also may purchase items from shops at a discounted rate, as well as may sell items to shops for higher prices, thanks to the Discount and "Overcharge skills.Merchants can have a cart with them, to put their items there. the cart also have its own wights. it's up to 8000.


 

The Archer

as its name suggests, specializes in attacking with a bow and arrow. Its skills allow the Archer to attack from further away, as well as to fire two arrows at once with the "Double Strafing" skill. They can also rent a Falcon to help them attacking. Falcon can attack by its own when you increase your luk (luck). more luk more it can attack automatically.

The Taekwon class

specializes in fighting without a weapon and focuses on kicking skills. These skills function uniquely as they are required to have a stance associated with a kick technique occur beforehand, which will happen at random during attack. They are able to change their element (for attacking) at will with their skill "Warm Wind". Each level of "Warm Wind" allows Taekwon to use a different element ranging from fire to even ghost and holy. This, in turn, allows them to deal massive damage on monsters by using the monster's elemental weakness. The Taekwon class can progress into either the Soul Linker or the Star Gladiator/Taekwon Master class.


 

The Ninja class

specialized in fighting with ninja daggers, Shurikens and Kunais. They deal decent physical damage and magical damage to enemies which makes the versatile when facing monsters that have either high defense or high magic defense. The ninja can do massive damage with the skill Killing Stroke because the damage is depends on the Ninja's HP and when Ninja's use this skill, it consumes all except one of the Ninja's HP.Ninjas have a good skill to avoid physical attack, it is Reverse-tatami. it's a good skill I think. Ninja's can use an Element stone that can cast a magic attack, Like Freezing-Spear.


 
The Gunslinger

class specializes in shooting from far away with guns.they are liked archers, but they use gun instead of bows.  the gun-type weapons are further broken down into sub categories of pistols, rifles, shotguns, grenade launchers and gatling guns. Some skills requires a certain gun to work. Gunslinger skills require coins which are obtained by the skill Coin Flip the coins also increase the damage done by the Gunslinger.




 




The Super Novice

Super novices are a special kind of class which exploits nearly every first class skill. Super Novices also sport highly effective armor and shields which reduce elemental attacks. Super Novices designed to have all the first job skills (swordsman, archer, thief, etc).
to be a Super Novices we must have a base Level of 99.
